Happy new year! Can you believe it — 2023, already? How!
Another year over — where does the time go?
As you may be aware, I had to change my plans due to a particularly nasty bout of flu, but I still had a lovely, very glamorous New Year’s Eve at home with a bowl of soup and season 3 of Friends — really, do you want anything more when you’re sick?

A cosy, non-sexy post from me this week, as I reflect back quietly on 2022, and think about what I am prioritising for the year ahead.
I don’t really believe in resolutions, but I do enjoy taking time to reflect, and there are definitely things that I want to be more mindful of, or do more of in future.
Taking a look back at 2022, some of my highlights were the cities I got to explore. I visited a few American cities for the first time — Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Savannah, Charleston, and Washington DC — and had an excellent time in all of them.

I also had some excellent Fly Me to You experiences! Wandering around Venice, a weekend in Paris, and a memorable night in Charleston, South Carolina, were definite highlights of my calendar.
In 2023, I want to continue exploring the world. I’ve got plans to see more of America and I’m also excited about spending more time in Europe. I’m really hoping that in 2023 I’ll manage a trip back to Melbourne to see my goddaughter for her birthday.
We can never know what the year ahead will hold, and so my main motto at this time of year is to continue living as best as I can in this world. I’m so grateful to everyone in my life who affords me this opportunity — my life as it is now would not be possible without the support of all of the great people I know — family, friends, and clients alike.
I have had some cherished experiences this past twelve months and, reflecting honestly, have been so lucky to meet some of the most amazing people.
