In a city like London, it’s no surprise that there are more restaurants on the bucket list that I haven’t been to than those I have — it feels like no matter how many I tick off, the list just continues to grow!
I couldn’t narrow this list down any further, so here are ten London restaurants that I would love to go to.
I love Indian food, from the humble local curry house to the elaborate high-end feast — and this one, on the latter end, has been on my list for ages.
The UK’s first Mexican Star, and one of the latest to join the list — I love Mexican food! What a fun addition to London’s One Stars.
I’ve had afternoon tea here, but I’ve never sampled the dinner menu! I love the décor and the fun, creative menu.
Another vote for Indian food — I especially love the clever, colourful, high-end takes on the classic flavours. And I love the focus here on coastal cuisine!
Holborn Dining Room, Holborn
I’ve had drinks and nibbles many times here at the adjoining Gin Bar, but I’ve never made it to the restaurant! And the Rosewood Hotel is one of the most beautiful in London — maybe we should get dinner and spend the night…
Chiltern Firehouse, Marylebone
No explanation needed for this one — can you believe I’ve never been to this London staple? And it’s just around the corner from the Wallace Collection — shall we wander around the gallery before dinner?
Sexy Fish, Mayfair
I love sushi and a raw bar! The premium set menu items look incredible here — lobster tempura and truffle-marinated kingfish? Yes please!
Marcus, The Berkeley Hotel, Knightsbridge
You might know how much I love Marcus Wareing on Masterchef: The Professionals, so I’d love to eat in his restaurant! But this isn’t one for a date — I always watch Masterchef with my mum, so it’s definitely somewhere I’m saving for a mother-daughter dinner date.
Dinner by Heston, Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park
Another one in a stunning hotel — I’ve always been a big fan of how playful Heston is, and I just want to try the meat fruit!
Sushi Tetsu, Clerkenwell
I love sushi, and what’s more intimate than a teeny chef’s table? I love getting to watch all the sushi made right there in front of you. Heaven!
So there you have it — just a few of the incredible restaurants that London has for lunch or dinner dates.
And if you want to try one of these places together — I wouldn’t say no! After all, doesn’t everything taste better with a charming and funny brunette sitting next to you? Contact me now and let's make it happen.
